Protect Your Horse. Protect Your Home.

Equimat North America was established when Jill Giese and John Dingle returned from over a decade breeding and training horses in Europe. Before building Dreamcatcher Meadows in beautiful Pemberton, BC they explored every mat and bedding product in Canada and the U.S for their new sporthorse centre. Nothing compared to the product they’d used for over a decade, Equimats, the number one choice animal mat used throughout Europe. They became the exclusive distributor of this unique product with so many benefits all in one mat.  In 2008 they improved the design – the 3’ x 4’ all-round interlocking Equimat – fits any area and endless applications including trailers, horse shows, aisles, etc.

Jill and John’s decades of horse facility experience and a passion for the health and welfare resulted in innovation creating the Ultimat and Multimat, the hygienic  anti-fatigue product that benefit animals and humans. In 2009 the evacuation of their home farm due to wildfire threat led them to the discovery of Scotty Firefighter products. They lived the nightmare, evacuating Dreamcatcher Meadows Breeding and Training Centre horses – their own, boarders, foals, rescues, and many more residents from parrots to miniature donkeys. Staff, friends, clients and the horse community executed their plan, stripped all the barns and residences as property bordering Camel Back Mountain was totally ablaze and the valley filled with smoke. Now Jill and John bring you products they know will help avoid a potential disaster. With the rampant wildfires still burning across the Canadian and American West Coast there is no better time to invest in learning valuable lessons to know what to do when a fire threatens, and perhaps purchase products that we know work. Every horse lover – barn owner, boarder, or even guest visiting their favourite, needs to know what to do when fire threatensCan you afford to not become informed?
